I went to the New York Public Library today - it is stunning. It has all these murals which depict different aspects of literacy and lots of gold leaf. The reading rooms are very inspiring; lots of old leather tables and high ceilings - I think I will take my laptop there some day (also because it seems quite cool, another mid-summer location to add to my list.) It inspired me to become learned (about something.)
