As it was Sunday I dressed up with my special shoes. One week in and those Clarks sandals have not caused any trouble at all – I have to hand it to them. There were a prettier pair of Clarks shoes which I tried on – Gladiator style with stones on them – which I dismissed because they had thin straps which I thought would rub. Now I think even they would have been a good bet.
