First Day Food

I went to City bakery for breakfast - I went there at Christmas with Lynne & Colin, and it was in the film Music and Lyrics. It's an attractive 1930s building with a huge mezzanine you can sit in and watch all the action from. I had a raspberry bran muffin & coffee. On the door it says you can have a 20% discount if you show up on a bicycle - as long as you have a helmet. Even New York has gone into eco-overdrive.

For lunch I went to my favourite cafe for my favourite sandwich; chicken breast, roasted peppers, mozzarella and rocket. Yum.

Dinner - I bought some food from the hot food deli in Whole Foods on Union Square - I think this will be a regular feature - and ate in on the steps on Union Square.

Somehow I think these three places will be a regular feature...
