Seafarer's Hostel

This is really the name of the place I'm staying - it's a mission to Seafarers. Since I'm not sure how many of those there are around, they rent out rooms to other people. It is literally 2 minutes from Union Sq, a brilliant subway line that I understand, Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble, supermarkets etc. I love it here, I would stay here the whole time if I could. It is cheap, clean and the right temperature, and for mum - I have a phone in my room (she phoned me at 8am this morning, to "try it out.")

Last year it made a list of budget places to stay in the Guardian - I was rather disappointed the secret might be out.
