I was so excited when I found out that there was going to be a street fair on my new street. I was even more excited when it was rained off on Saturday and postponed until Sunday (my move-in date.) In reality, there wasn't that much happening, just a few people selling their junk.I was really confident I would win something in the raffle. I bought 6 tickets and it looked like there were about 4o prizes. The street fair didn't look that busy so I was waiting for the call...it hasn't come.
There's a schedule of street fairs here - but I don't think they are the same as the local fairs organised by each block - these are bigger fairs I think.
